Lone Wolf

Hunting with the pack
Feasting with the pack
Fighting for the pack
But not of the pack
For he is the Lone Wolf

Cold at heart,
Icy his stare,
Sharp his canine,
Strong his jaws,
Lone Wolf looks upon

The more he is pitied,
the more he pities.
For you are a lone wolf
who without dignity,
claim to be the pack

Unbound he is,
But marks to show,
the near strangulation
Emotions around his neck

The more he untangled,
more tangled he became.
Until the realization,
rope is just his mind,
tying strong to the pack.

The rope he saw, strangling all
chaining the beast within.
Unbound he is, but
Beast, he is not
For he is the Lone Wolf.
